There is a video and a step-by-step guide to help congregations complete it, including tips for appointing assessors, ideas for gathering information, examples about how to collate and rate your findings, and suggestions for what to include in the recommendations to council. All congregations are expected to complete the self-assessment (and child safety plan) annually, under the LCA's mandatory child safety responsibilities.
