Tangara, the student magazine of Australian Lutheran College (ALC), is back after an 11-year hiatus. From 1968 to 2009 the students of Luther Seminary and later ALC annually produced the magazine to build relationships between students and the wider church. This year a group of students has taken the initiative to ‘renew’ Tangara in order to share their journey at ALC. The 2020 Tangara is available for $10 a copy. Mavis Malbunka, an Arrarnta woman from Bethlehem Lutheran congregation Ntaria (Hermannsburg) and an authoritative voice in the Central Australian community, provides a little of all of these in sharing her story.
