In Memoriam PASTOR DAVID CHIANG (8/4/1939-6/2/2020) PASTOR NEIL HAMPEL (22/7/1935-29/2/2020) THANK YOU! Between 1 January and 1 March 2020, Australian and New Zealand Lutherans and friends have generously donated $263,701 to help people affected by bushfires to get back on their feet. To date, $71,800 has been distributed to Lutheran Community Care in South Australia for personal and financial counselling services in Cudlee Creek and surrounding areas. In the Ministry & Mission Department in the Queensland District, $200,000 has been provided to people affected by drought conditions. If you still want to donate, you can do so through the LCA Disaster & Welfare Fund. CHANGES TO AWARDS From 1 March 2020, new requirements for people employed under several awards apply to annual salaries that have been calculated by employers. To check the affected awards, visit the Fair Work Ombudsman website. If you are paying your employees strictly in accordance with the award, you most likely do not need to change your current arrangements. Read more information here.
